Tip #1

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Staging your property gives you better photographs for the internet.  94% of buyers between the ages of 25-44 begin their search for a home on the internet.
(National Association of Realtors)

Many buyers eliminate homes from their “must see” list based on photographs.  If the photos of your home don’t look great - you’re sending potential buyers to the competition!

Tip #2

Stage it first.

Staging your home before it goes on the market, gives you an advantage. New listings generate the most activity in the first few weeks. You will make a good first impression with buyers and agents and be in a prime position to sell quickly.

Tip #3

Price it right.

In order for a property to sell quickly, and for top dollar, there are two factors that must be in line.
It has to look great – and be priced competitively. Staging won't "fix" a poorly priced home.

Tip #4

Spend money to make money.

It can be emotionally difficult to put money into the home you are leaving. However, most sellers get a significant return on their investment. Once your property is is on the market, it becomes a product. Everything that makes it look better than the competition - increases your chance of getting top dollar.

Testimonials

Dear Lisa,

You made the house sparkle! We received multiple offers the first day our house was listed, with many more to follow. It sold it within two weeks at a price very close to what we were asking! In this poor housing market - with so many foreclosures, the competition is overwhelming. We believe that the seller must find a way to set their home apart. You turned our empty house into a home that prospective buyers could picture themselves living in, and wanted it to be their next home. We thank you again for all your expertise.

Dear Lisa,

Thank you again for speaking at the Women’s Council of Realtors meeting, it was wonderful. I think many agents didn’t realize just how important home staging was - until they heard your presentation. Your information made a huge impact on our group.

Lisa,

I first of all want to thank you for the amazing work that you did to help me sell my home. The way that you were able to "re-shape" the entire look and feel of my home was what helped me get a buyer. Your ability to come in and transform my home in less than one day was amazing. I loved all of the colors and accessories that you used. In fact, it has helped me in determining how to decorate my new home that I just purchased. In addition to your amazing style and taste, I loved working with you. You had such a positive attitude and I received great customer service from you.

Lisa,

Our real estate agent sent us pictures of a house she thought we might be interested in. As we looked at the photos, it was hard to tell much because all the rooms were empty. When we saw it in person, later that week - it had been staged. It made such a difference, and we think that was what made us want to buy it! There was something about how it was set up and furnished that felt so clean and uncluttered. It made us feel like we wanted to live there. Now we do!

Staging Ovation has helped two of my clients prepare their homes for sale. The first was a Brentwood townhouse and the second was a Westwood condo.
Both of these listings sold quickly with multiple offers. In fact, the sale of the Westwood condo exceeded the sellers and my expectations in several ways:
- This property was transformed from something less than appealing, to a near model unit.
- It received 13 offers within the first 5 days on the market.
- The highest offer was $90,000 above asking price!

I suggest that anyone selling a property should retain the services and experience of Lisa, and her company. They were meticulous and did an extraordinary job!

A listing of mine languished on the market for more than 6 months. The listing expired, the sellers packed and moved to the East Coast. I asked the sellers to consider staging to help get the property sold.
Staging Ovation completely staged the house, and made recommendations for the yard, which addressed recurring objections from past prospective buyers.
After staging, and returning the house to the market, we accepted an offer for $10,000 over the asking price within the first few days! There were numerous other "would-be" buyers who were very disappointed. Buyers just loved the house!

Thanks and Best Regards,

Dear Lisa,
I can’t thank you enough for your important contribution to the recent sale of our Encino home.
As you know, the real estate market had changed to a "buyers market" and many homes had been slow to sell.
We were very fortunate to acquire your services to "stage" our home. Because of your excellent advice, eye for color and style, we sold our home it’s first day on the market. We had multiple offers, and the house ultimately sold for considerably over asking price.
Your professional manner, pleasant personality and enthusiasm for your work made it a pleasure to work with you.

Thanks again,
